General Speaking Assessment Information


The speaking exam is now unlocked, so please do the exam tonight, Thursday night. The deadline for submission is 8:30am tomorrow Friday October 10.  It must be completed before the written exam.


When doing the speaking exam, please remember the following:

  • do not prepare the questions ahead of time - we would like to hear you speaking naturally like you are having a conversation
  • do not read the question, just answer the questions.  You can, however, read out the number of the question
  • do not spend more than 5-8 minutes on the entire speaking exam.  Please give complete, focused answers
  • please remember you can make your video "unlisted" and only share the link with your instructor
  • when notifying your instructor that you have completed the exam, please send the youtube link in an email to your instructor or simply mention that it is complete.  I will test it and make sure it opens properly & email you back letting you know.
